MEMBERSHIP

As a member of Wells City Acorns Hockey Club, you are expected to support the Club to best of your ability, both on and off the pitch.
This includes observing Club policies on conduct and player's appearance, and following Captain's request during a match.

You will be expected to pay your fees promptly and be punctual for matches, training and meetings.

In return you are encouraged to volunteer for a role on the Council, to participate in strategy and objective setting meetings, to assist with individual events throughout the season and to represent the Club at various external meetings where appropriate.

Club members who incur personal costs when acting on behalf of the Club will be reimbursed at a realistic level.

All members can benefit from increased playing opportunities, enjoyable social occasions and the chance to gain nationally recognised qualifications in umpiring and coaching.

Cost of membership £35 / £20
 

KIT

The Club will provide a shirt and make socks available to purchase at a competitive cost (£5).

Goal Keeping Kit can be provided if necessary and sponsorship arrangements will make items such as Training Jackets available at very low cost.

Players are required to provide other kit necessary, including suitable footwear.

Players must wear shin protections at all times and a gum shield is very strongly recommended, especially for juniors.
